Expiration Date Product FAQ

For some items, you are required to specify an expiration date within your box contents information when you are sending a shipment to Amazon.  This is typical for grocery or health items.  You can add expiration dates for these items while listing them in AccelerList.


Expiration dates cannot be passed through to Amazon Seller Central via the API unless the seller is doing box content.  If all of the products can be fit into one box, then Amazon forces the seller to add those product expiration dates manually in Seller Central when they finish the shipment.  Expiration dates accounted for however via the box content process within AccelerList.


Adding expiration dates per batch

It's a best practice to avoid split shipments and make product listing easier by grouping your products into the same category when listing.  (Books in a book batch, grocery items in a grocery batch).  In doing so we have provided a way to add expiration dates to all products in the same batch that have the same expiration date by leveraging the right handside control bar.

If you need to add different expiration dates for different items in a batch you can do so by enter in those dates manually as you list products

Will the expiration dates print on the FNSKU product labels?

Yes, they will.  Below is an example of a 30334 label with the expiration date printed on it.
